My favorite thing to paint is the emotions of ordinary people that we all share and grow from. The emotions are expressed through dramatic movement of the figures and light. High contrast and texture underscore the themes of our shared experiences
I am exploring the application of medium to canvas using my hands only. This method allows me to be more connected with what I’m working on. Touching the canvas and paint allows me to experiment with its affect on my own personal style.
